Fantastic Music Festivals This Saturday in Ventura County!

This Saturday, September 22nd, is the official last day of summer! Come celebrate the season with some incredible live music throughout beautiful Ventura County. There are 2 fantastic music festivals planned for this weekend that you do not want to miss!


First Annual Folk Festival | Santa Paula

Location: Agriculture Museum (926 Railroad Avenue)

Come check out the inaugural Folk Festival being held in the gardens of the AG Museum in charming Santa Paula. This new event will feature all area musicians performing their original works of American folk music. While you listen to the music, enjoy delicious food from Cowboy John’s Smoken BBQ Food Trailer and adult beverages from the bar.





Bowlful of Blues | Ojai

Time: 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Location: Libbey Bowl (307 East Ojai Avenue)

Ventura is about to get a lot more colorful! It's time for the 8th annual Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival!!! Head on down to the beautiful Ventura Harbor on Saturday, September 8th, and Sunday, September 9th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (both days) to see some magnificent works of art!


Find incredible pieces of art for your Ventura home at the fine artisan marketplace. Fifty local artists will be displaying and selling their jewelry, paintings, sculpture, photography, pottery, glassware, and more!


Stroll along the harbor promenade for the most amazing display of "living" art. Forty five of Southern California's finest chalk artists will transform the sidewalks into vivid masterpieces for all to enjoy.

Celebrate the natural beauty of Ventura at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival!! This 9th annual festival showcases inspirational and educational films related to our natural environment. Enjoy these incredible, award-winning short films with a stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. Bring a blanket, find the perfect spot on the grassy lawn, and relax under the stars during this fantastic event!


The Wild & Scenic Film Festival will take place this Saturday, August 18th, at the Ventura County Credit Union (2575 Vista Del Mar Drive #100). The gates to the event will open at 5:00 pm with fun lawn games, family friendly activities, live music from Bill Jones & J. Peter Boles and Mid Life Crisis. Films will begin at 8:00 pm.

Ride the Wave to Ventura's Surf Rodeo Music & Surf Festival!

One of your favorite Ventura County summertime events is right around the corner…..the Surf Rodeo Music & Surf Festival!! Celebrate everything you love about living in this beautiful community on Saturday, June 14th, and Sunday, June 15th, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm daily in Pierpont Beach.


Enjoy a weekend of dancing to the 24+ bands. Catch the waves or watch them ride during the Surf Contest; held at 7:00 am on both Saturday and Sunday (must have Surf Rodeo ticket to be a spectator). Participate in the “Wimbledon” of Cornhole Tournaments; held at 10:00 am daily. Check out the exciting Rodeo Competitions. Dine on delicious food from your favorite local vendors and cool down with an ice cold beer from the Beer/Wine Gardens. Swing by the Street Fair to find unique items from around 100 vendors. Take a turn on the mechanical bull, try the beach activities, swing by the Kids Corral….and so much more! This festival is fun for all ages!

Be "Ventura Strong" at the 43rd Annual Street Fair in Ventura. There is so much to enjoy at this fantastic community event. Explore unique, handmade arts and crafts created by more than 200 artists. Dine on delicious food made by local organizations and businesses. Take the kids to the Kid Zone at Mission Park (Main & Figueroa Streets) for rides, inflatables, and a Ventura Fire Department fire engine. Decorate your bicycle or red wagon in patriotic glory and participate in the Pushem Pullem Parade at 9:30 am down Main Street. All participants will receive a free commemorative button. Dance the day away to fantastic live entertainment.
